01
BPDB: Solar and Renewable Power Projects
BPDB is pursuing a 4,000MW solar target by 2030 and is expected to procure large-scale solar power plants in the 50-200MW range with support from ADB, the World Bank, and the GCF. Korean solar EPC players and suppliers of modules and inverters can participate in international competitive bidding. Meetings at GGHK should be used to confirm the project schedule and technical specifications.
02
DWASA: Water Treatment Plants and Smart Water Systems
DWASA is expanding Dhaka water supply through projects valued at more than $500 million with ADB support. Core demand includes new water treatment plants with a capacity of 500,000 cubic meters per day, leakage detection systems, smart metering, and SCADA-based remote management. Korean water treatment solutions are well aligned with these requirements.
03
DPHE: Rural Drinking Water and Arsenic Mitigation
DPHE is responsible for rural drinking water supply and for addressing arsenic contamination in groundwater. Many village-scale purification projects backed by the World Bank and UNICEF are under way. Compact membrane-based purification systems and arsenic removal filters from Korea are particularly relevant.
04
DNCC: Waste Management and Waste-to-Energy
Dhaka North City Corporation is reviewing landfill modernization and waste-to-energy projects to process more than 4,000 tons of waste per day. In an integrated waste management project valued at over $80 million and supported by the World Bank, Korean waste treatment firms could participate through design services and equipment supply.
05
SREDA: Energy Efficiency and Green Buildings
SREDA runs energy efficiency labeling, building energy code implementation, and industrial energy audit programs. Korean suppliers of efficiency consulting, LED lighting, inverter-based equipment, and building energy management systems can position their solutions within SREDA-led initiatives.
