Korean-English Synchronization Process

01
Synchronization Principle
The Korean report served as the master and the English report as the mirror. Structural changes in Korean were reflected in English, while preserving English-specific phrasing and original source wording for data. Synchronization took place when Korean V3, V5, and V7 were finalized, and the final English version was completed after Korean V8 was confirmed.
02
First Update (9/5, reflecting V3)
The basic seven-section structure of Korean V3 was applied to the English version. What had been a five-section Sakib V1 draft was expanded to seven sections, and promising item analysis increased to three items. Fifteen data points were updated to the latest FY2024-25 figures. Sakib updated Sections 1, 2, 4, and 5, while the officer drafted Sections 3, 6, and 7.
03
Second Update (9/15, reflecting V5)
The competition landscape analysis added in Korean V5 (Section 5) and the risk matrix (Section 7) were incorporated into the English report. Market share data by competing country was extracted directly by Sakib from local industry reports in English source form. The officer translated the risk matrix into English while keeping the same structure as the Korean version.
04
Third Update (9/25, reflecting V7)
Changes in Korean V7, which reflected the first HQ review, were synchronized into the English report as the final September update. The set of promising items was finalized at five, and each item gained budget ranges and timelines in the action plan. Source citations were added to all data tables, the writing style was standardized, and one external English copy-editing round was completed.

Through the September update series, the English Strategy Report expanded from the original 28-page Sakib V1 draft to a final 38-page version, ultimately achieving full synchronization with the Korean report. Clear division of labor between the local staff member and the officer, milestone-based synchronization, and a disciplined cross-review process proved to be the key factors in efficient bilingual report production.
