Highlights of the Signed MOUs

The 15 MOUs represent memoranda of understanding between Korean companies and MDB institutions for cooperation on project participation. While an MOU is only an initial step, it marks a formal starting point for partnerships that may later advance to bids and contracts.

Infrastructure MOUs (5 cases)
Five Korean construction and engineering firms signed MOUs tied to Southeast Asian and South Asian infrastructure projects backed by the World Bank and ADB. Two Bangladesh transport infrastructure projects were included.

Four Korean ICT firms signed MOUs connected to AIIB digital infrastructure initiatives and World Bank e-government projects. One Bangladesh digital infrastructure case was included.

Bangladesh Project Consultation Outcomes

Five concrete follow-up discussions are underway for Bangladesh-related projects. Korean participation is being discussed for the Dhaka metro expansion project backed by ADB, a World Bank power grid modernization program, and AIIB-supported digital infrastructure initiatives.
