WCE 2025 Brochure: Introduction and Analysis of the World Climate Expo

Overview of World Climate Expo 2025

The World Climate Expo (WCE) is one of the largest international exhibitions dedicated to the climate industry, serving as a platform for showcasing and exchanging technologies and solutions related to carbon neutrality, renewable energy, climate adaptation, and the circular economy. The 2025 event will take place immediately ahead of COP30 in November in Brazil, which is raising attention as countries strengthen their nationally determined contributions (NDCs).

According to the brochure, WCE 2025 plans to host more than 500 companies from 40 countries, 30 conference sessions, and over 1,500 export consultations. More than 200 Korean companies are expected to participate, making it the largest edition to date.

Structure of the Main Programs

The brochure presents WCE 2025 as a five-part platform built around the exhibition itself, the conference program of keynote speeches and panel discussions, B2B export consultations, themed special pavilions, and public-facing experience and education programs. Together, these elements position the event as more than a simple trade fair.

Participation Guide

01
Exhibition Participation: Apply for Booths in Six Sectors
Companies apply through the official website, generally four to five months before the deadline. Booth formats include standard 3x3-meter booths, premium 6x6-meter booths, and designated spaces in special pavilions. Small and medium-sized firms may receive 50-70% booth fee support, and participating exhibitors are automatically registered for the export consultation program.
02
Overseas Buyer Participation: KOTRA Invitation Program
Overseas buyers register through KOTRA trade offices. Buyers from Bangladesh would apply via the KOTRA Dhaka Trade Office. Partial support may be available for airfare, accommodation, and interpretation, while interest areas and product categories must be entered into the B2B matching system in advance.
03
Conference Attendance: Advance Registration with Simultaneous Interpretation
Participants can pre-register free of charge for the 30 sessions. Korean-English simultaneous interpretation will be available. Sessions on CBAM, climate ODA, and NDC strategies are especially relevant for export-oriented firms, and presentation materials will be posted on the official site after the event.
04
Export Consultation: KOTRA B2B Matching
Companies separately register for the consultation program on KOTRA's platform, submit company profiles and product information, and then proceed through AI-based matching before schedules are confirmed. Meetings run for 30 minutes each with interpretation support, and preparation of catalogs and samples is essential.
