Session 1: Strategies for Trade Expansion
This session reviewed the product structure behind Korea-Bangladesh trade of $2.2 billion and proposed a roadmap toward a $5 billion target by 2030. It examined ways to expand Korean market share in key export items such as steel, chemicals, machinery, and electronics, while also discussing diversification strategies for Bangladeshi exports to Korea, including garments, leather, and seafood.

Session 2: Deepening Investment Cooperation
Presenters outlined the current position of Korean corporate investment in Bangladesh, estimated at roughly 500 companies and cumulative investment of $1.5 billion, and introduced plans for a Korea-focused industrial cluster inside a special economic zone. The discussion covered investment incentives, including corporate tax exemptions and tariff privileges, along with labor market conditions and investment risk management.

Session 3: Cooperation in Infrastructure Development
This session highlighted Korean participation and future opportunities in Bangladesh's infrastructure mega-projects, including metro rail, the Padma railway, and LNG terminals. It also addressed the use of EDCF concessional financing, bidding strategies for Korean EPC firms, and participation models for PPP projects.

Session 4: Finance and Fintech Cooperation
The final session analyzed the rapid expansion of Bangladesh's digital finance ecosystem, including mobile financial services such as bKash and Nagad, and identified technology export opportunities for Korean fintech firms. Topics included the digitalization of remittances, valued at around $23 billion annually, mobile payment infrastructure, and the transfer potential of Korean authentication and payment technologies.
