KOTRA DX Innovation Lab: The Nerve Center of Trade Digital Transformation
KOTRA DX Innovation Lab is an innovation unit leading Korea's trade and investment digital transformation agenda. Since 2023, it has operated 28 projects that apply advanced technologies such as AI, big data, and the metaverse to practical trade workflows. These initiatives are grouped into eight domains and are jointly developed by KOTRA and private startups or IT companies.
The lab's overarching goal is data-driven trade automation. By digitizing the full export process from buyer discovery and consultation to contracting, logistics, and aftercare, it aims to build the technical infrastructure that enables small and mid-sized firms to compete with large enterprises in global markets on more equal terms.
