Mymensingh Five-Bridge Project Overview
The Mymensingh Five-Bridge Project is a package procurement for five road bridge crossings in the Mymensingh region of central-northern Bangladesh. It is designed to connect traffic corridors that are currently fragmented by multiple tributaries of the Brahmaputra river basin.
The project is co-issued by LGED and RHD. By bundling five bridges into one procurement package, the project improves bidding efficiency and lowers logistics and mobilization costs for equipment and manpower. Mymensingh is an agriculture and trade-oriented city about 120 km north of Dhaka.
