Global Talent Fair 2025 Overview

Global Talent Fair 2025 is a large-scale overseas talent recruitment fair jointly hosted by KOTRA and the Ministry of Employment and Labor, designed to directly connect Korean companies with qualified international talent. In 2025, the event will take place simultaneously at COEX in Seoul and on an online platform, with more than 200 Korean companies participating across four tracks: IT and AI, manufacturing and engineering, bio and healthcare, and construction and infrastructure.

The fair invites talent from more than 20 countries, and Bangladesh has been given a dedicated session as one of the key source markets for IT and software professionals. The 2024 edition hosted 3,500 one-on-one interviews, with 1,200 resulting in confirmed hires. For 2025, organizers aim to expand participation by 50 percent and exceed 5,000 total matches.

The matching process runs in two stages: online pre-matching and on-site interviews. International candidates register their resumes on the online platform beginning four weeks before the event, and an AI-based matching system recommends suitable companies. After video interviews with recommended employers, candidates with mutual interest move forward to final in-person interviews. On-site interviews are conducted in 30-minute one-on-one sessions, and some companies make immediate hiring offers at the venue.

Participation Strategy for Bangladeshi Talent

01
Focus on the IT and AI track, where demand is highest
More than 80 Korean companies are expected in the IT and AI track, where demand is strongest for AI engineers, full-stack developers, and data scientists. Bangladeshi IT talent should highlight English proficiency and global project experience, while preparing portfolios that clearly demonstrate Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and GitHub-based work.
02
Use online pre-matching to secure interviews without traveling first
Travel to Seoul may be difficult for many candidates from Bangladesh, so online pre-matching should be used aggressively. Candidates can upload resumes four weeks before the event and proceed to video interviews based on AI matching results. In 2024, 40 percent of all matches were completed online.
03
Leverage the K-Move Dhaka Center for coaching and preparation
The K-Move Dhaka Center provides pre-event coaching for Global Talent Fair participants, including Korean resume translation, mock interviews, salary negotiation guidance, and visa procedure support. Candidates who register through the Dhaka Center can also be classified as KOTRA-recommended talent, improving their matching priority.
04
Target construction and infrastructure roles as a second strong opportunity
Korean construction companies recruit heavily for overseas project sites in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Bangladeshi civil and architectural engineers are often attractive candidates because of their field experience and English communication skills. The construction and infrastructure session enables direct interviews with employers such as Korea E&C, Korea C&T, and Daelim.
